I’m not going to India for this, but I feel like plugging it because Goher was, and is, so special. I had little contact with her, but in what I did have, she was like the female version of Bhau – a real bliss-bomb, kind of feminine and subdued, but radiant with calm bliss. If she was in the area, I could feel her, and I’m sure it was mutual, although no words ever passed between us.

I have a natural rapport with doctors and healers in general, and I could feel what a first-class clinician Goher was, which is what you would expect about the Avatar’s doctor, but she just brought more live juice to the role than can be imagined, and she also had that whacked-out sense of humour – when Goher laughed, the sun came out; it was like Laughing Buddha.

Goher was also very selfless, I remember her beating herself up about her total failure to serve her Master – having literally given Him her whole life – and there was no ego there to beat up. And she wasn’t being ironic either, she really felt that way, but still, there was no egoic energy there that I could perceive. Such are the great lovers of God.
