The Beginning of Maitreya Meher’s “Beads on One String”

Milan welcomed Tibet’s exiled spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama, on Thursday (20 Oct 16) and gave him an honorary citizenship on a visit to the northern Italian city, angering China, which sees him as a separatist.

The 80-year-old Nobel Peace prize-winning monk says he only seeks genuine autonomy for Tibet, the Himalayan region that Communist Chinese troops took control of in 1950.

Milan’s mayor Giuseppe Sala, who is an ally of Prime Minister Matteo Renzi, posted a photograph on Twitter of himself wearing a Buddhist scarf and clasping hands with the Dalai Lama.

Sala tweeted: “Milan, an open city. In the past, the present and the future.” Italian media quoted him saying he did not fear “repercussions” from the meeting.

The Dalai Lama was also received by senior Roman Catholic cardinal Angelo Scola. There was no suggestion he would meet Pope Francis, who is pushing to improve relations with China. …

Meher Baba famously said that he would connect the different religions together ‘like beads on one string.” It has begun with this alignment of Christianity and Buddhism because those are the two major religions which are most free of the obligatory beginningless racism which is the prevailing and presenting limitation of all Asian religions.

It should not surprize us that the Catholic Pope would choose to align with Xi Jinping, a politician, rather than his fellow religious cleric, because the Catholic Pope is exactly a politician, and in this case, he is both a bad politician and a bad cleric, because this will cause the Western Church, and particularly the American Church, to lose more membership.

Previously, the Dalai Lama had these same kinds of hegemonist delusions (which were rooted in exactly his false designation as “The Buddhist Pope”), which caused me to be against His Holiness. The Dalai Lama’s oppositional political role towards China (as the head of the Tibetan government in exile) was the exact same thing as the Catholic Pope’s present attempt to appease a vicious despot – both things are examples of clerics acting beyond both their religious authority and their political competence. At the time, I relentlessly criticized the Dalai Lama until he finally grew into his proper role, by giving up his role as the head of the Tibetan government in exile, and since then I’ve really grown to like the guy.

Am I going to go on a similar campaign against the Catholic Pope now? No, because this is a weak fish who is just not worth my trouble. I also think that the Catholic Cardinals, to whom he must answer when they act as a whole group, will settle his hash rather quickly and rather summarily.

Shucks, folks, I purely do believe that we be moving right along with the Manifestation of God’s Avatar! The Avatar Express is also in town. Get on board! The train is leaving! Buses too! Time’s a-wastin’! Don’t just stand there with your stupid face hanging out, only to whine at me after the fact, when you already missed the train, just as if you never got warned! Oh, and Hey, did I mention STUPID yet?

Vishveshwar Bodhisattva
